Our couple, Mary-Esther and Keith, envisioned a modern and sleek hotel wedding infused with their individual styles and tastes. For their color palette, we decided to create a bold and stylish palette featuring black, olive green, ivory, and blush. We also incorporated touches of metallics and acrylics to give their color palette some edginess. For the venue, the couple selected the gorgeous and modern Park Hyatt in Washington D.C., as we believed the venue was the perfect setting for our couple’s nuptials. Park Hyatt’s spacious and fully draped ballroom really set the tone and added the perfect amount of softness to our edgy design. For their ceremony, Mary-Esther and Keith wanted to keep our couple’s design clean and simplistic, while bringing a distinctive and bold design to their reception. For their florals, we went with an unconventional design and opted for cascading florals as the couple preferred to make a statement with a floral design not seen often. Let us know if you would like me to incorporate any details from this wedding into yours.
